Repocket, and what it quietly removed

Repocket advertises $0.20 per gigabyte shared, which is at or near the top of this category and is the reason people run it. Two independent reviews agree on that figure, so I am reasonably confident in it.

The catch is the per-IP limit. You can install it on as many devices as you like under one account, but only two devices on the same network can be connected at once. On a single home connection that is your effective ceiling, and the second device is competing for the same demand as the first rather than doubling it.

Reported account limits sit around five devices and five concurrent sessions. As with the per-IP rule, the account cap is not the constraint that binds on one connection.

Desktop only now. Windows, macOS on both Intel and Apple Silicon, Linux including ARM, and Docker. Mobile apps for Android and iOS existed previously and have been discontinued, so any guide walking you through the phone app is out of date.

Unlike EarnApp there is an official Docker image, and it authenticates with an API key from the dashboard rather than your account password, which is the better design:

The API key is on the bandwidth earnings page once you log in at the dashboard. Use the key, not the password, even if an older guide tells you otherwise.

Three changes reported during 2026, and they are the reason this page exists rather than another install walkthrough.

The referral program has been removed. A great many pages still promote Repocket primarily on its $5 referral bonus, and if that program is gone those pages are recommending an app on the strength of a feature that no longer exists. That is worth knowing whether you are signing up or writing about it.

Cash offers have been disabled, described as temporary, so the secondary earning route is not currently available.

The mobile apps are gone. Sources also disagree on whether PayPal is still a payout option, with one mid-2026 review saying it was removed and older ones listing it as the only method, which I cannot resolve from outside.

None of that makes Repocket a bad app. A high per-gigabyte rate is still a high per-gigabyte rate. But a platform trimming features is worth watching, and the payout minimum is reported at both $10 and $20 depending on the source, which is a meaningful difference when the app earns single-digit dollars a month.
